José Víctor Jiménez, CPA, CVA, CGFM. A graduate from the University of Puerto Rico with a BBA in accounting. He has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in public accounting in the areas of commercial, governmental management advisory services, auditing, accounting, taxes and related areas. Prior to organizing JIMENEZ VAZQUEZ & ASSOCIATES PSC, Mr. Jiménez worked as a senior manager in KPMG in which he served a significant number of clients in a wide variety of industries. He was also an executive officer in a local accounting firm. In these positions he not only serviced clients in Puerto Rico but also traveled and provided services to clients based in the Virgin Islands and the United States. He has gained extensive consulting and auditing experience in the areas of insurance, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, service whosalers, retailers and other nonprofit organizations. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also holds the professional designations of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) issued by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and the designation of Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM) issued by the Association of Governmental Accountants. As a result of such credentials he has gained expertise in business valuation and value management engagements in various industries and in significant litigation support activities. He has been a frequent lecturer on relevant topics including business valuation, accounting, external and internal auditing and consulting services in and outside Puerto Rico. Mr. Jiménez is also a member of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, The Institute of Internal Auditors and other Civic Organizations.
